A Suffolk company has got off to a strong start to 2023 after making it onto a list of firms set to deliver £1bn worth of public sector construction jobs.
Ipswich-based SEH French is among 94 companies included in Pagabo’s Medium Works Framework to deliver projects worth up to £10m.
SEH French director Simon Girling said it was "an honour" for the company to be included in the second generation of the framework.
The company was previously named in the initial framework launched in January 2019.
Pagabo pre-approves national and regional contractors and helps public sector organisations to connect with them to deliver works, services and goods through framework agreements.
"This provides significant opportunities for the company and our staff, and our appointment is testament to the quality of work we provide," said Mr Girling.
The Medium Works Framework runs for four years until 2027 and covers construction projects between £50k and £10m.
"The new year is off to a fantastic start already and we look forward to seeing the opportunities this news brings," said Mr Girling.
Over the last year, the building industry has faced massive price fluctuations for materials which have made the going tough.
SEH French works on a number of other frameworks led by organisations including Suffolk County Council, Essex County Council and Wellcome Genome Campus.
The company works on projects across East Anglia in sectors such as education, residential and industrial.
