Suffolk had its coldest January night in a decade as temperatures plummeted well below zero.
According to meteorologist Dan Holley of Weatherquest, Santon Downham recorded a low of -9.8C over Sunday night.
This reading makes last night the coldest in East Anglia since January 2013 as the region's cold snap intensified.
Elsewhere in the county, Cavendish, near Sudbury, recorded a temperature of -8.4C, just one night after its -8C reading was Suffolk's previous coldest of 2023.

This record comes after the Met Office issued a yellow weather warning for freezing fog on Sunday.
Looking forward to the rest of the week, Suffolk is set to get more mild as the days go by, with overnight temperatures not likely to dip below 0C.
