Police have been monitoring the speed of road users in Bungay in accident blackspots.
Suffolk police's speeding team has been monitoring the A144 and St Johns Hill in Bungay, stopping several vehicles, including HGVs, for speeding offences.
The force selected to focus on the two areas as previous "serious or fatal collisions" have occurred there.
Police did not reveal the precise number of drivers they managed to catch, however they said they were "disappointed" that numerous drivers failed to comply with the limits and were stopped for excess speed.
Officers say the message to slow down is particularly pertinent due to the frosty conditions on the roads.
This comes after a number of reported fatalities across Norfolk and Suffolk in the cold weather.
Inspector Simon Jones, of Norfolk and Suffolk Roads Policing Unit, said: "Firstly, our thoughts are with the family and friends of those who have been affected by these incidents.
“However, we would like to ask people to take extra care as the road conditions worsen and allow plenty of time for their journeys.”
