Ed Sheeran has posted a cryptic message on his Instagram page – leading some fans to think he may be about to release new music.
The Shape of You singer posted a video on his Instagram which suggests a new song will be dropped on Thursday at 8pm.
In the video, Sheeran pays tribute to his good friend and DJ Jamal Edwards who died in February last year.
Edwards was the founder of SB.TV, which is a music company that was known for getting musicians to rap 64 bars to a beat.
In the snippet posted on Instagram, the Framlingham-based songwriter sung about his life since Edwards passed away.
The post caused fans into a frenzy with a number of people saying they loved that Sheeran is back rapping again.
