An award-winning gastropub in east Suffolk is in the running to be named the best in the UK for a second year running.
The Unruly Pig in Bromeswell, near Woodbridge, has been named in Estrella Damm's Top 50 Gastropubs guide for 2023.
Last year's list saw the east Suffolk pub come out on top of the pile, with bookings going "absolutely crazy" in the following days, according to owner Brendan Padfield.
Estrella Damm's list ranks the UK’s best gastropubs according votes from more than 400 owners, food critics and other industry experts.
The winners of the 2023 guide will be named in a ceremony at The Unruly Pig on Monday, January 23.
Chris Lowe, publisher of the list, said: "After a tough few years for the hospitality industry, we are thrilled to see such a strong list of contenders this year.
"The Top 50 Gastropubs provides a platform for food-lovers to explore the very best offerings across the UK."
