Rising energy costs and dwindling footfall has resulted in a Suffolk pub to close its doors for the last time.
The Cock Inn in Little Thurlow announced its closure in a statement on its website.
The pub recently hosted a surgery held by the controversial television presenter Piers Morgan who spoke to residents while their MP - Matt Hancock - was taking part in the hit ITV show I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here.
A statement on the pub's website reads: "CLOSED due to astronomical energy costs and dwindling footfall."
The pub's owners have been approached for further comment.
It comes after the owners of the Railway Tavern in Saxmundham announced they would be closing due to dwindling number of customers.
