A train popularly known as the poshest in Britain is coming back to Ipswich later this year as part of a series of luxurious journeys.
The Northern Belle, which was once part of the Orient Express Group, stopped in Ipswich on Monday, December 12 for a special Christmas ride.
The train is making several more stops in Suffolk's county town in the coming autumn and winter as it takes passengers on lush trips across the country.
On Friday, September 8, the Northern Belle will pick up passengers for champagne lunches and afternoon tea.
The following day, the train will make its way north from Ipswich for trips to Castle Howard in North Yorkshire, York and Scarborough.
Its final scheduled journey from Ipswich this year is its Christmas lunch on Saturday, December 9.
Prices for the journeys range between £295 and £495.
The Northern Belle featured festive décor and 1930s-style Pullman carriages named after British castles and stately homes.
Passengers who got on board last month were treated to a champagne reception, seven-course Christmas lunch and on-board entertainment.
