A popular outdoor clothing shop is set to open a new store in Felixstowe, utilising one of eight empty outlets in a short stretch of the high street.
Sportswear and outdoor clothing company, Trespass, will open a new branch on Hamilton Road in Felixstowe.
The shop is to be situated in the former YMCA store, which has moved to Sailmakers Shopping Centre in Ipswich.
The short stretch of Hamilton Road between Boots and Bank Corner currently has eight empty outlets, after the Simone Michelle hair salon moved to new premises just outside the prime town centre area, and M&S, Burtons, Dorothy Perkins, Barclays, HSBC and The Tanning Salon all shut up shop.
Trespass currently has two other sites in Suffolk, with one in Southwold and another in Ipswich.
Felixstowe has recently seen a rise in trade according to business owners and Felixstowe BID chairperson, Kate Cain, after their Christmas activities increased footfall around the town.
Last year, a business hub was also opened in Felixstowe for people working from home, freelancers and micro-businesses.
