A much loved pub has been put on the market after it closed down earlier this year.
The Five Bells in Great Cornard, is back on the market with a six-year tenancy available at the pub, which is being marketed by Michaels Property Consultants.
Landlords with a proven track record are wanted to run the pub that dates back to the 1700s.
The rent for the pub costs £2,083 per month and there is also a landlords charge of £5,000 which includes the license fee.
The pub has been bordered up for the past couple of weeks and the sign has been taken down above the door.
It comes after the pub closed down in September.
Wendy Menzi who had been the landlord of the pub for the previous 16 years held a big party on her last day in charge of the pub.
Many events have been held at the pub over the years, just one of them included the popular beer festival in 2013.
Scores of people made a bee line to the Five Bells for the event, which raised money for Help for Heroes.
There is first-floor accommodation which allows a living space for the new landlords of the pub and compromises of a living room, kitchen, three bedrooms, bathroom and an office.
Plans were revealed last year to build four bungalows behind the pub in Bures Road.
Work on the four semi-detached bungalows has already started.
Access to the properties will be gained off Bures Road with a reconfiguration of the existing pub car park with hard and soft landscaping.
There will be a further 12 car parking spaces available to accommodate the new homes.
According to plans the bungalows will be built with red facing bricks and grey tiles roofs.
