A 36-year-old man is due to appear before court after another man was shot in the leg in Brandon.
Jason Anderson, of Riverside Way, Brandon, has been charged with two counts of failing to comply with the conditions of a firearm certificate and possession of an imitation firearm with intent to cause fear of violence after an incident in the town.
Police were called to an incident at an address in High Street at about 10.30pm on Monday.
The following afternoon, a man in his 40s called police and reported that he had been shot in the leg with what is thought to have been a shotgun.
The injury he suffered was minor, and the victim did not require hospital treatment.
Officers conducted a search at a property in Riverside Way on Tuesday in connection with the incident and seized a number of firearms and ammunition.
Anderson is due to appear before Suffolk Magistrates' Court on Thursday.
