A yellow weather warning for ice has been issued for parts of Suffolk as temperatures are set for plummet.
Icy patches could cause hazards in parts of east Suffolk - after the Met Office put in place the warning.
The warning, which is in place between 6pm on Wednesday and 12pm on Thursday, comes after weather forecasters have predicted snow and wintery showers for the week.
Forecasters are warning of possible injuries from slips and falls on icy surfaces, along with icy patches on untreated roads, pavements and cycle paths.
A cold weather alert has also been issued for the region as temperatures could reach as low as -4C on Thursday.
The cold snap ould increase the health risks to vulnerable patients and disrupt the delivery of services, the alert said.
People are also being reminded to keep their homes heated to at least 18C - particularly if they have reduced mobility, are 65 or older, or have a health condition.
