Two police officers were assaulted in separate incidents in Bury St Edmunds on Thursday night.
Officers were first called to reports of a disturbance at Bury St Edmunds train station.
A man was arrested for being drunk and disorderly and assaulting a police officer. Once in custody, he was dealt with by British Transport Police.
In a second incident, officers arrested a man in the town centre for being drunk and disorderly, assaulting a police officer, and common assault after he was ejected from a pub
Bury St Edmunds Police confirmed that neither of the officers was injured in the assaults.
