Oak Farm Meadow is a new development of Linden Homes properties being built by Vistry Group in the village.

Vistry is building 143 new energy-efficient homes, including 93 houses for private sale and 50 homes provided as affordable housing for local people through rent or shared ownership.

Mr Osborne said: “The barbecue was to say thank you and to show our appreciation to the trades, office-based staff and sales team at Oak Farm Meadow for their hard work and attention to detail.

“We had representatives from the trades attending the barbecue and it was fantastic to have everybody together to celebrate their success and the NHBC award.

“This award is a team effort and without everybody’s input, our site would not have won. It proves that there is no I in team and it is all about everyone working together.”
