A London man faces a trial after pleading not guilty to being involved in the supply of cocaine and heroin in Sudbury earlier this year.

Before Ipswich Crown Court on Thursday (November 3) for a plea and trial preparation hearing was Ali Kahraman, of North Circular Road, London.

He pleaded not guilty to being concerned in the supply of cocaine and heroin between January 28 and March 17 this year.

Also before the court via a prison video link was Kaiya Shepperson, 19, of The Ridgeway, Enfield.

He is accused of being concerned in the supply of cocaine and heroin and possession of heroin with intent to supply.

No pleas were taken for him as his barrister wasn’t able to attend the hearing and his case was adjourned until Monday (November 7) when Judge David Pugh will also consider an application for bail.

A trial date for Kahraman, who is on bail, will be decided on Monday.
