A Suffolk town's Christmas lights event will return in full force for the first time in three years, with theatre performances, music and market stalls.
Stilt walkers and Victorian carol singers will be wandering the streets of Bury St Edmunds during the afternoon and evening of Thursday, November 17.
While the Salvation Army band play Christmas music, people can visit the funfair and choose a meal or snack from the variety of food stalls.
There's also the opportunity to meet Father Christmas on his sleigh, with his elves and final arrangements are being made for a much-loved popular TV character to be in attendance.
Chief Executive of Our Bury St Edmunds Business Improvement District (BID) Mark Cordell said: "As darkness starts to fall, visitors will be able to wander around the town to watch an act on the stage, see the Christmas Trees and our special Instagramable free-standing lights, which we introduced last year as well as all the other stunning illuminations.
"It's always a wonderful afternoon and evening and I hope it will encourage people to come into town, meet up with friends or family and share some Christmas cheer or get some Christmas shopping ideas."
