Political debate with a sharpe edge came to the heart of Ipswich tonight as the BBC’s Question Time came to the Corn Exchange.
David Dimbleby’s panel included former Liberal Democrat leader Charles Kennedy, defence secretary Philip Hammond – who last week said he would vote to leave the EU if there were a referendum now – and Labour shadow minister Chris Bryant.
The audience was made up of members of the public from across the area – many of them political activists or community leaders with a keen interest in current affairs.
