Police have arrested a second man following the discovery of a body in Bury St Edmunds.
Police were called by the ambulance service at 10.20am to a house in Anselm Avenue, where a woman had been found dead.
A 49-year-old man was initially arrested on suspicion of murder this morning. A second man, aged 22, has also been arrested this evening on suspicion of murder. Both men are in custody at Bury St Edmunds police investigation centre.
A postmortem examination will be carried out and police have this evening notified next of kin.
Officers are trying to establish the circumstances leading up to the woman’s death. Anyone with information should contact the major investigation team on 101.
