Minor incidents continue to blight the region’s roads in the wet weather.
A white Ford Fiesta has crashed near the Martlesham Industrial Estate after losing control, with the car’s male driver suffering an arm injury.
A car skidded out of control and crashed at the roundabout off Junction 50 of the A14 at Stowupland.
A large tree branch blocked a lane on the westbound-off slip road of the A14 at Junction 40, for Higham, while part of the car park of Nowton Park in Bury St Edmunds has also been closed off after half a lime tree came crashing down.
Minor flooding has also been reported at the railway bridge on the junction between Barton Road and New Road in Thurston.
In Colchester, a blue Ford Fiesta crashed into a bollard at the junction between Northern Approach and Boxted Road at around 2.15pm.
