The wet weather has caused an accident on the A14, a vehicle to get stuck in floodwater and a tree to fall down, as west Suffolk endures heavy downpours.
Police and officers from the county council are at the scene in Compeigne Way, Bury St Edmunds, where the vehicle has got stuck in floodwater.
One lane of the A14 eastbound is closed close to Junction 37 for Exning after another accident.
The weather has also caused problems in Thurston today, with a large tree falling and blocking Norton Road close to the junction with Orchard Lane.
However, the tree was chopped up and the road re-opened at around 1.30pm.
