Two people from west Suffolk died after their car left the road and hit a tree in Cambridgeshire.
The pair, both in their 50s and from Haverhill, died after the Mercedes C63 they were in left the A1307 and crashed into a tree at about 6.50pm on Saturday near Bartlow.
They had been travelling towards Haverhill at the time of the crash. The pair have not yet been formally identified.
PC Simon Burgin, investigating, said: “I would appeal to anyone who saw the crash, or the vehicle prior to it, to call police.”
Anyone with any information should call the Roads Policing Unit on 101.
