There is lots to do in Suffolk over coming days now the Easter holidays are underway in earnest and we are approaching the long Easter weekend.
Here we offer a round up of family fun activities that you can enjoy.
Bury St Edmunds:
Try your hand at archery at Ickworth House. Children and adults of all ages can try this historic sport between 11am to 4pm daily until Monday, April 6 - cost £3 for seven arrows.
Alternatively children aged four to 11 can hunt for eggs in the ground of this stunning house, cost £2. Trails run Wednesday and Thursday (April 1 and 2) only.

The Museum of East Anglian Life in Stowmarket is holding an Easter-orientated day on Easter Sunday, starting with an Easter egg hunt around the 75-acre site.
There will be a seedling workshop and an animal pen where you can get hands on feeding the newborn lambs.
There will also be traditional games such as dying eggs, you can try making chicken egg cups or even fashion your own Easter bunny ears.

For a piece of real Suffolk history visit ‘The Middy’ over the Easter break. The award-winning railway museum is open for Steam Up events on Easter Sunday and Easter Monday, when there will be Easter egg hunts for the children and all three of the locomotives will be in action as well as the 160-year-old horsebox.
The cafe, real ale bar and shop will all be open between 11am and 5pm.

There is an Easter Egg-pedition at Knettishall Heath, near Thetford, on Thursday.
Follow the Spring trails and take part in a wildlife hunt to find the hidden treasure around the reserve.
The whole family can join in this free event, starting at 2pm and lasting two hours, and there is a small chocolate treat for each child.

Go bird spotting at Lackford Lakes on Good Friday.
Pick up a spotter sheet, follow the trails and see what you find.
This runs throughout the day and costs £1 per child,or £2 with binocular hire.
Sizewell:
There will be a highly-charged egg hunt at Sizewell on Wednesday and Thursday.

Craft activities and science experiments are also taking place during the Easter themed events, running 10am to midday and 1pm to 3pm on April 1 and 2.
Long Melford:
Celebrate Easter Tudor-style at Kentwell Hall from Friday to Monday.
It’s the year 1578 at Kentwell Hall, Long Melford as Kentwell is transformed in their first Tudor re-creation of the year.
The gardens and farm will also be open with new lambs, spring bulbs, wellie walks and the return of the Easter trail - The Impossible Quiz.
Bawdsey:
Take a break from chocolate and find out more about the invention that changed the world.
The Magic Ear Exhibition at Bawdsey Radar is open on Easter Sunday and Easter Monday. Entry is £4 for adults and free for children.
