St Nicholas Hospice Care is opening its Donation Centre on Chapel Pond Hill, in Bury, so members of the public can have a browse and rummage among a host of bargains.

Items on sale will include donated furniture, bric a brac, electrical items, gardening tools, books, clothes and more.

Karen Sainty, St Nicholas Hospice Care head of retail, said: “We receive some really generous donations from the community, so we wanted to give people the chance to find a bargain.

“This sale will be ideal for people with new homes, gardeners, bookworms and those who love to rummage among second-hand treasure. At the same time as finding items to complete your home or top up your bookshelf you will be raising funds for a very worthy cause.”

On Friday April 8 and Saturday April 9 the centre will be open 9am-5pm and on Sunday April 10 it will be open 10am-3pm.
