Former Labour Party leader Ed Miliband – a leading campaigner in the campaign to stay in the EU – is among the guests expected at Ipswich Corn Exchange when Question Time comes to town tonight.
Mr Miliband will be joined on the panel by Green Party MP Caroline Lucas, former shadow Home Secretary David Davis, former Tory advisor Steve Hilton and journalist and broadcaster Dreda Say Mitchell.
It is the first time the programme has returned to the town for three years – and the looming EU referendum is likely to provoke some of the liveliest debate.
Mr Miliband and Ms Lucas are in favour of staying in the EU while Mr Davis and Mr Hilton are supporters of the Vote Leave campaign.
Tickets for the audience have been allocated in a bid to ensure both sides of the debate are represented.
The programme is due to be recorded early in the evening and will be broadcast on BBC1 at 10.45pm. It is repeated on the BBC Parliament Channel at 6pm on Sunday.
