Two more people have been charged in connection with the murder of Michael Beckwith, from Harwich.
Triston Biddlecombe, 23, a family care worker, of East Street, Harwich and Enderlein Biddlecombe, 19, unemployed, also of East Street, Harwich, were arrested yesterday by Essex Police.
They were both charged with conspiracy pervert the course of justice and are due to appear at Chelmsford Magistrates’ Court today.
Mr Beckwith, 44, of Goodlake Close, was assaulted in Barrack Lane, Harwich, just before 10pm on Sunday, July 31, and died on Tuesday, August 2.
Three other people have already been charged with conspiracy to murder and are currently before the courts.Scott Swift, 27, of Station Road, Dovercourt, Rebecca Ryan, 21, of Hilltop Rise, Weeley, and a 17-year-old boy, from Harwich, have been remanded in custody and are all due to appear at Chelmsford Crown Court on September 2.
The 17-year-old boy cannot be named for legal reasons.
