To mark the launch of Volvo’s new S90 and V90 premium models, Ipswich-based dealership Donalds Volvo is hosting an inspirational ‘Ninety Mins’ free presentation evening on Thursday, October 27 with special guest speakers for its customers and the public.
Starting at 7pm and lasting for 90 minutes at Donald’s West End Road dealership, the evening plays host to presentations from Olympic sailing gold medallist Saskia Clark and former Ipswich Town stars Simon Milton and Alan Lee
Graham Walker, an expert in leadership and personal development, will host the first session of the evening. Then, kicking off with a talk about their experiences as professional footballers and an insight into management side of the game, both Milton and Lee will talk about the life of a club player as well as how to choose a winning team.
Going for gold at the Olympic Games requires determination and dedication toward a discipline. During the talks, British sailor Clark, who hails from West Mersea, near Colchester, will share her experience with the audience on what it takes to become an Olympian and how she achieved gold for Team GB at Rio, along with Hannah Mills, in the Women’s 470 class sailing event.
Benjamin Grant, Donalds’ Group marketing manager, said: “Volvo has been the vehicle partner of the British Sailing Team since 2009 so it’s a pleasure when we’re able to spend time with our customers and some of the greatest sailing talent in the UK – especially when they are Olympic gold medallists. Having Saskia at the dealership alongside Alan, Simon and Graham is a great way of demonstrating our dedication as a business to the local community and I’ve no doubt it will prove to be a fascinating evening.”
The Volvo V90 estate and the S90 saloon are the latest models to be added to the premium car maker’s top-of-the-line 90 series, sitting alongside the award-winning XC90 sport utility vehicle. Built on Volvo’s all-new in-house designed chassis, the S90 and V90 models benefit from Volvo’s ground-breaking Drive-E engines. Like the popular XC90 before them, they also feature the new face of Volvo, including ‘Thor’s hammer’ T-shaped LED headlights that make them instantly recognisable.
