Members of four kite clubs will be showing off their skills at a special family festival at Felixstowe this weekend.

The Felixstowe Kite, Craft, Kids and Car Festival will take place on Sunday, May 21, from 11am to 5pm at Felixstowe International School, Garrison Lane.

Hosted by the Rotary Club of Felixstowe Landguard, the day will include demonstrations of kite flying at its best, together with a drones display, classic cars, and a range of children’s activities, including a covered area for the under threes, slides, bouncy castles, games, laser tag, races and face painting.

Those with a leaning towards crafts will be catered for in the sports hall where a number of varied craft activities will be on display, while main ring activities will include presentations by young people, a team of majorettes and a dog agility demonstration. Entry is £5 adults, £2 children and family ticket £15.
