The Stowmarket magician Matt Edwards is on Britain’s Got Talent sister show Britain’s Got More Talent tonight (May 27)

The magician, who wowed judges with his tequila drinking magic trick, will be on the ITV2 show, which starts at 9.20pm.

The show is hosted by Stephen Mulhern and features extra footage and interviews which was not shown on the Britain’s Got Talent.

Matt got straight through to the semi-finals, which will take place next week, after Ant and Dec pressed their gold buzzer.

All the judges were set to put him through, with his comedy magic set impressing.

Judge Amanda Holden compared his act – fully of wacky facial expressions, dancing and impressions – to famous magician and performer Tommy Cooper.

She described him as being “old-school with a twist, which is perfect for Britain’s Got Talent”.
