Firefighters have tackled a car fire on the A12 at Benhall near Saxmundham.
Emergency services were called just before midday today, Saturday, June 3, to reports of a car on fire on the road.
A crew from Leiston were sent to the scene and the fire was extinguished by 12.17pm.
A spokesman for Suffolk police said officers were waiting for a recovery vehicle to take the car away and that there are traffic delays in the area as a result.
There is also slow moving traffic on the A12 northbound near Woodbridge after two motorcyclists came off their bikes close to the Wood Lane roundabout this morning.
Police were called today at around 10.25am.
A police spokesman said the motorcyclists had escaped the incident without injury.
He said officers were waiting for the highways team to arrive as there is potentially fluid on the road.
He added that drivers should take car on the roads today as there are reports of fluid on the road at Butley and Waldringfield.
