Spooky tales and a themed trail will be the focus of a special Hallowe’en event being planned to take place at skate and play venue Curve Motion, in Bury St Edmunds.
It is teaming up with local businesses Auntie Pam’s Sweet Shop and Bring Out Your Dead Productions to offer an interactive experience for families who can get dressed up and enjoy all the fun and excitement with a host of different activities including roller skating, soft play and crafts.
The main feature of the event will be a “Trick or Treat Trail” which has been curated in partnership with local theatre company Bring Out Your Dead Productions, and author of “There’s A Head In My Bed”, Hatty Ashton.
“We’ll be telling the spooky ghost stories of St Edmund and Forkbeard the Viking to all those who participate in the trail which is a fun way to introduce children to their local history,” said Hatty.
The trail will offer participants the opportunity to meet costume characters and solve clues as they explore the playframe, before visiting the Witch’s Lair where they will be told their spooky story and receive their treat for completing the trail.
The event will run on Wednesday, October 31, from 3.30pm to 8pm.
Tickets are on sale now via the CurveMotion website http://www.curvemotion.com/ with a £2 per ticket advance booking discount on offer up to Sunday, October 14.
