TRAFFIC delays are expected today on the A120 in Essex after a lorry shed its load of gas canisters.
Emergency services were called to the incident which happened around 8am today and left 120 cylinders, containing either carbon dioxide or a mixture of carbon dioxide and nitrogen, spread across the road near the junction with Great Bromley.
The A120 has been closed both ways while the incident is cleared.
A spokesman for Essex fire and rescue service said: "We understand that the cylinders are not toxic or flammable after ventilation, so once that job is done they can be cleared from the road and collected by their owner.”
