TikTok trainspotting star Francis Bourgeois has posted a video of himself exploring the Port of Felixstowe.
The internet star, who has more than two million followers on TikTok as a result of his high-energy trainspotting content, posted a video on his Instagram detailing the path containers take from the ships to the railway.
Introducing the port, Francis was dressed head-to-toe in high-visibility gear and spoke about the size of the ships and the seagulls, referring to them both as "gigantic".
He also was seen wiping something from his hard hat, and thanking the seagulls for their "excrement".
After following the containers across the port, the internet sensation finished his video by saying farewell to freight train number 66727, commenting on its "gorgeous" maritime blue livery, and laughing his trademark laugh as it honked its horn while leaving the port.
The visit was arranged as Francis was announced as the new brand ambassador for GB Railfreight, which transports heavy goods across the UK.
As part of the deal, the trainspotter will be sharing insight into the importance of the rail freight network on his social media channels.
Francis said: "I am so excited to be joining GB Railfreight. I have had a lifelong passion for the railway, and I can’t wait to apply this enthusiasm to my ambassadorship at the company.
"I am really looking forward to elevating the world of trains, rail freight, and spreading happiness and joy in general — with GB Railfreight, we will be able to achieve this together."
Seema Kotecha, head of communications and marketing at GB Railfreight, added: "Francis is the perfect brand ambassador for raising the profile of rail freight and the important work our industry does to support the UK Economy and efforts to reach net zero.
"We have all loved his content and infectious energy that has put a spotlight on the railway."
