JANE HAYWARD We are very sad to announce that Jane Hayward passed away peacefully at home, after a short illness, surrounded by her loving family on the 3rd August aged 83. Adored and cherished wife to John. Proud and much loved mother of Vanessa, Susannah, Sarah & Richard. Loving grandmother to Ollie. Funeral is at St Andrew's Church, Melton on Thursday 22nd August at 3pm. Family flowers only, donations to St Elizabeth Hospice or Marie Curie c/o EB Button & Sons Ltd 24 St John's Street, Woodbridge IP12 1EB.Tributes

Jane was a very dear, loyal friend. We met nearly 50 years ago in London when our children were young, and attended the same schools.
We enjoyed many , happy social occasions in each other’s houses and had several fun family holidays together.
In recent years we kept in touch regularly by telephone as we had moved to opposite sides of the country. I shall miss those chats on the phone very much, exchanging news of our families, and recollecting on past events in Muswell Hill and the Cotswolds.
I shall miss Jane’s kindness and humour.
Rest in peace, dear friend.
