DOREEN FLORENCE REVELL Doreen Revell (née Jordan) passed away peacefully in Uvedale Hall Care Home, on Wednesday July 24th, 2024, aged 90 years. Dearly loved wife of the late Henry, loving mum of Sue and Sally, dear mum-in-law of David and Rob, beloved nana of Jemma, Simon, Melanie, Kelly and their families. Doreen will be sadly missed by all her family and many friends. Funeral service at Seven Hills Crematorium, Nacton on Wednesday 14th August at 10.30 a.m. Black optional, colours welcome, especially Doreen's favourite red. Family flowers only. Donations in Doreen's memory will be split between 'Uvedale Hall Care Home- residents fund' and 'Fundraising for the reinstatement of the Magpie sign on the A140', cash donations preferred, please contact Sally or Sue for bank details if online donations preferred.

We were lucky enough to have Doreen and Henry as our neighbours when we first moved into the village of Earl Stonham. They both showed great kindness as they helped us settle into village life. They spent nearly all their married life in Earl Stonham and the village benefited from their presence as they were both heavily involved in clubs and village activities. They were incredibly wonderful neighbours and we missed them terrible when the time came that they had to leave. Doreen was always happy, kind and volunteered to help at a drop of a hat. She made the most delicious cakes, which she readily shared with us. Our lives are richer knowing the pair of you. Thank you
