David Ernest Hawkins died after a short illness on the 8th April 2024, aged 89 years. Beloved husband of Shirley; father to Linda and Marian; father-in-law to Brian and the late Steve; Grandave to Charmaine, Glyn, Melissa-Anne, Pip and Richard; Great Grandave to Barnaby, Alexander, Sebastian, Arthur, Austin, George, Morgan and Dorothy; dear brother of the late Ronnie and Betty and of Jack. Funeral service at the United Reformed Church, Stowmarket on Thursday 9th May at 2pm. No flowers, please, but donations, if desired, for Save the Children may be made via:
