Reverend JOHN RUSSELL BERG 1936 - 2024 Our dear friend John passed through the Pearly Gates to join his God in Heaven on Saturday 20th January. May the angels sing alleluias in honour of his amazing life as priest, musician, composer, playwright, comforter and friend to all. John was the Chaplin for the Mission to Seafarers in Yokohama and Kobe in Japan for 42 years. He will be sorely missed by all of his friends both here and in Japan. May his soul now rest in peace.

With much sadness I've just learned of the passing of John Berg, my mother worked for his parents in the village of Burgh and therefore knew both him and his sister Ann, I also knew them both and feel privileged to have had the chance to know them lovely people, RIP John🙏
