COCKERILL CHLOË M.B.E. of Weston Colville, near Cambridge, much loved wife of Tim, died peacefully in hospital on April 14th, 2023 aged 75 years, after a brave battle against cancer. Celebration Service at Cam Valley Crematorium, Great Chesterford, CB10 1FE on Tuesday, May 23rd, 2023 at 12.15 p.m. Bright colours and no flowers please; donations, if desired, to the Arthur Rank Hospice Charity, c/o H. I knew Chloë through shared associations with Ely Cathedral and was delighted when we discovered that I am distantly related to he husband, Tim. After that, we would meet several times a year – in Ely, in Cambridge University Library or in each other’s houses.

Chloë was a dear and valued friend and will be sorely missed by many, I am sure, besides myself. My heart gos out to Tim – and to the dogs.
