WHITMORE, MERVYN ALAN of Eyke. Sadly passed away in Ipswich Hospital on April 16th, 2023, aged 87, now joining his beloved wife, Ann who died in October, 2019. Dearest dad of Adrian (wife, Jo), Carol (daughters, Bree, Norell and Shannon) and Debbie (husband Jack), brother of Linda and Andrew, brother-in-law of Rosemary and grandpa to his grandchildren and great grandchildren. Funeral service at All Saints Church, Eyke, Tuesday, May 30th, 2023 at 2 p.m. Family flowers only, but donations may be sent to St Elizabeth Hospice (Suffolk). A sincere thank you to the ambulance team, doctors, nurses and auxiliary staff and the many wonderful friends from the village and surrounding communities for all their support.Tributes

A truly wonderful man who I have known all of my life. Mervyn, you will be so greatly missed. Eyke has lost one of its true legends. Sleep well xx
