BACKHOUSE SIMON JAMES STANLEY Sadly passed away at Derriford Hospital Plymouth on January 22 aged 51. Dearly loved by his family and friends in Leiston and Plymouth. He fought through many years of declining health with resilience and humour. Private cremation. Any donations in Simon's memory, if desired, to be made to Plymouth Hospitals Charity (NICU). Our grateful thanks to the staff at Derriford for the kindness and care given to Simon over the years. He will be forever in our hearts.

Simon was a friend of mine, and i will miss him.
Last saw him at Christmas 2022 and he seemed fine, especially having just moved into his new purpose built flat.
I am so sorry he has passed. My thoughts go out to his family at this time.
