Published on 08/01/2013

ROBERT MARK PARTRIDGE After 83 years of wonderful farm life filled with love and gratitude, Mark passed away peacefully at home on December 29, 2012. His decline and final illness was stoically, bravely and gracefully borne. He is survived by his beloved wife Sylvia, his first wife Anne, daughters Joy and Susan, sons Philip, James and Richard, his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. His first son Thomas departed this life in 1978. His life revolved around agriculture and he leaves behind many good friends from the farming and equine world in which he was a well respected figure. The family wishes to thank Marie Curie, Hospice at Home, Jean and Doctors Juno and Christopher, all of whom helped to make it possible for Mark to stay at home with his family. Marks wish was for a family service to be followed by cremation. A Memorial Service will be held at St Andrews Church, Rushmere on Monday, February 11 at 11.30 am. Donations, if desired, to Royal Agricultural Benevolent Institution or St. Elizabeth Hospice may be sent to Farthing Singleton & Hastings, 650, Woodbridge Road, Ipswich, IP4 4PW.
