I would like to wish my father, Allan David Stockwin a very happy 70th birthday. In spite of his constant assurances that he [from the age of 40] would only “last another ten years” he has [thanks to medical breakthroughs and the antioxidants in Châteauneuf-du-Pape] achieved septuagenarian status. A man doesnt have to go to war to be a hero. Heroism can be found in 5am pancakes, quests for the latest toys and seemingly endless university runs. I only truly appreciated how great a dad you were once I became a parent myself. You have set some seriously high standards. Love, Luke.
