Fire crews continue to tackle a blaze that is causing dangerous black smoke to cover a Suffolk town.
Crews were called to the fire in Fornham St Martin, near Bury St Edmunds at around 9.35am today, Sunday, January 28.
Multiple stables and outbuildings are on fire with one shed containing tyres causing the dangerous black smoke to bellow into the sky.
Suffolk Fire and Rescue are advising all residents in the area to keep any doors and windows closed while the fire is extinguished.
Police are also on the scene where they have closed the nearby B1106 Thetford Road.
Three fire engines and a fire officer from Bury St Edmunds and Ixworth are at the scene.
The incident is going on in a patch of land behind the Jardine Mini and BMW dealership, which has had to close following a road closure along a stretch of Thetford Road.
Homes in the area have suffered power cuts as a result of the fire, and UK Power Networks are working hard to resolve the issue.
