A pottery studio and shop has shared a "big secret" - it's moving to new location. 

Claire Douglas opened Claire's House in Churchgate Street in November 2022. 

Speaking at the time, Mrs Douglas said: "I wanted to bring something more unique to Bury St Edmunds and build a sense of community within my new space."

Now the studio has shared its plans to relocate to a new premises on the outskirts of the west Suffolk town which will have parking and more opportunities for classes, workshops and events.

In a newsletter to customers, Mrs Douglas said: "We have been keeping a big secret here at Claire's House, but as we now have firm plans, we are so excited to announce we are going to be moving premises.

"This will not happen until the summer and lots of preparing and planning will be taking place before then, but as many of you know we were seriously running out of room here."

Mrs Douglas plans to share the new location of Claire's House at a later date.
