A woman was left bruised after being spat at and dragged along the street by a passerby.
The female road worker, aged in her 20s, was reportedly approached by a black Ford Fiesta and sworn at by the male front-seat passenger.
He then spat at her and grabbed her arm as the car drove away causing her to fall over, leaving her with bruising.

The incident happened on the High Street at 2pm on Friday, September 8.
The vehicle had an 'L' plate and the male passenger is described as an older man wearing yellow glasses.
Witnesses have been asked to contact Suffolk police quoting reference 37/53024/23.
