A man was found dead inside of his car after a fire in a country park.
Emergency services were called to Brook Retail Park in London Road, Clacton, at about 3.40pm on Tuesday to reports of a car on fire.
A spokesman for Essex Police said a man in his 60s, was found inside the car, and was pronounced dead at the scene.
The spokesman said: "His death is being treated as unexpected.
"We have investigated and it is not suspicious."
The park was cordoned off while emergency services attended the incident.
The park reopened more than seven hours later at about 11pm.
