A Volkswagen-themed festival will be making its return to Suffolk this summer.

Jimmy's Farm near Ipswich will host Beetle-Juiced Festival, a three-day car and music event, on the last weekend of July.

Hosted by R&D Events, the festival's music line-up will be headlined by indie band The Sherlocks, while its 'Rave Cave' will also make a return on Friday and Saturday night.

On Saturday there will be a modified car show, while Sunday will celebrate the traditional Volkswagen motors.

There will also be a range of stalls selling everything from clothing to crafts, as well as food trucks.

Last year, the event was moved to Jimmy's Farm after complaints from neighbours at its previous proposed location.

A licencing application to sell alcohol, play live and recorded music has been submitted to Babergh District Council.

Live music would be played between 3pm and 10pm on Friday, 10am until 10pm on Saturday and 10am until 6pm on Sunday.

Documents state people camping at the festival should not exceed more than 2,000 people.

The festival will take place between July 26 and July 28.
